Our search professionals are skilled in qualifying potential candidates for each and every opportunity. Process…

MRG Executive Search consultants begin by meeting with the client company to learn more about the company’s culture, organization, and business. From these discussions, we develop a clear vision of the client’s goals and expectations. Each search is unique yet common elements include the following:

Company Profile:   Before we can find the type of candidate that will fit within an organization, MRG consultants learn and understand more about our client companies. We then develop a written Position Profile based on the following information:

  • Company history, mission and vision
  • Job description
  • Reporting relationships
  • Community  information
  • Targeted qualifications and experiences
  • Competencies and expectations
  • Employer benefits and relocation policy


Candidate Sourcing:  MRG locates candidates who are successful in their current positions and meet our client’s needs. We target individuals, industries, and appropriate organizations.

Candidate Assessments:  An extensive array of assessment tools are utilized to ensure a full understanding of a candidate’s potential for success. Several of these tools involve interpretation from our psychologist to evaluate a candidate’s style and fit in relation to the organization.

Behavioral Interviews/Accomplishment Differentiators:  Probing face-to-face interviews are completed with candidates. These visits provide opportunities to explore in depth what makes each candidate a good fit for the position based on past experiences and accomplishments.
 
Recommendation Report:  An extensive written candidate recommendation report is presented for each finalist. In this report, the client company will receive information demonstrating the reasons for the candidate’s interest and MRG’s solid recommendations for each candidate.

Finalist Interview Scheduling:
Once the client company decides on finalist interviews, MRG’s search consultant will assist with interview scheduling, candidate skill areas to probe, and development of interviewing questions designed to engage candidates in meaningful dialogue and provide consistency between candidates.
 
Negotiation Counseling:  Once a hiring decision is made, MRG will complete in-depth reference checks. We ensure all parties’ needs are addressed and resolved so we can facilitate the ‘closing of the deal’.

On-Boarding:  MRG’s process continues beyond the final offer. We can provide assistance to the candidate’s family, facilitate a developmental component for the new employee, and/or initiate partner relocation assistance for the trailing spouse.
